Anyone have experience with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)?

this is a frequent topic of discussion on the training board.

if you haven't posted this there, you might do so. i'm certain you would get excellent feedback. :)
 
HIIT is great. I was a d-1 college football player and our conditioning test was basically HIIT. It was sprint 100 yards in under 14 seconds and then jog back in under 60 for 14 sprints. If you get back b4 the 60 seconds was up you had a little break and then you went again. I thinkits great for preserving muscle while melting away bodyfat.
