Where's the best place to get it if i want to set it up with a card? shouldn't it be somewhere i can self install?

you can self install, but there are some internet vendors that will offer free installation by using contractors in your area.
most places install it for free and let them. saves you a small headache. make sure you own your equipment also when you purchase and keep the document that says so

anyone know a good online that explains how the programming cards? like what to do if you have a virgin card
A little OT. I just got sent 2 new cards from DTV they said throw the old ones away. lol
I think they zap them in the upgrade process anyway.

The old ones have a 3 on them, On the back- HU20005--
I still have 2 or 3 BS`ed H cards lolI loved them for about a month.
