My MIL gave us her nordic trac elliptical. It's ok, but sucks compared to the ones at my gym.

You get the most bang for your buck from a PaceMaster. Great quality at a decent price point.

I've been the the Precor factory in Washington. They make the best residential treads and ellipticals on the market. They are expensive though.

I was in the Precor shop in Bellevue last week. I laughed my way around the store as I looked at the price tags.
