Anyone got any advice??

Ok... so, I've been doing cardio for an hour a day and then weight lifting... but I'm not losing any weight!! (I'm not gaining any either... so that's a good thing.)

I'm watching what I eat very carefully and have really cut down on my carb intake. (I only eat whole grains.)

Does anyone have any advice to hurry the process along any? Do i need to be taking a supplement? My husband is having the same problem. He can't seem to get rid of his "love handles", his arms and chest are becoming bigger, but he's got this big belly. We both put on a lot of weight when I was pregnant.

Any advice?

I agree with diamond, lift first---------- then cardio--- as far as losin the gut, it takes time and diet diet diet

Best advice I can give: get your hiney over to the woman's forum and read, read, read!!!

Plus, you'll need to go over there and post exactly what you are eating, exactly how much excercise and when, and your stats.

We can hook you up, girl!

Like everyone said: cardio AFTER lifting because you want to get the most benefit out of your weight workout, so you can build muscle that will burn fat. After you've done weights and depleted the stored glycogen in your muscles, you'll get into fat burning zone faster when you do cardio. If you do cardio in the AM and then lift in the PM (after some meals in you during the day of course), then it's fine to do cardio first. Here's a good article:

When eating whole grains do you eat refined foods? Eat brown rice, patatoes, yams. Cut the bread, bagels...etc. Try not eating carbs after 6:00pm and do your cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Another thing you might want to add is a fatburner like Xenadrine. Works amazing and a great energy booster. It will get rid of most of your water weight.

Check your diet. If you are exercising regularly and getting rest then it must be the diet. One key nutrient that many people forget is a daily intake of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) these are essential for many vital body functions, especially when it comes to healthy weight loss. You MUST intake fat to lose fat.
