Anyone ever used Drysol?

It is a antiperspirant prescription which I am gonna get from my doctor soon...

Is it as good as they say? Any feedback?

I've used it...stuff is great...my pits would sweat in the middle of winter when I'm freezing cold for some reason, and now none at all...I ended up using it like twice a week after I started...I found mine at some Canadian pharmacy site, I think it was less than 25.00 shipped to my door.

I have not used Drysol. However, i am currently about to start using Dryclor which the pharmacist explained was the same thing. It has a roll on applicator. Apparently dries you up within a few days. My current deodourants just seem to run off my underarms and i have tried them all. It can be freezing cold and still seem to sweat. I hate it. Does anyone else have any other remedies?

I read the directions and it says to put a plastic wrap around and a tight T shirt after you use the lotion...

Indeed Drysol may stop the sweat underarms...WHen I used it a while ago I start sweating more on my chest, back, head ...my underarms were dried but I guess the sweat found other way to get out...

mmmmm yes, antiperspirant, the pore clogging pleasent smelling gew you smudge in your armpits..... antiperspirant basicly is like glueing your pores shut so that they cant prespire, isnt this partly why they think it may cause cancer as well?

Trust me you dont have to do that plastic wrap shit. My underarm sweat was friggin terrible. Alls you got to do is put on two days in a row before bed (where a shirt or not, doesnt matter) when you first get it. Then put it on once a week. Stuff works. Bone dry.

It works but in my case I start to sweat mor eon my back on my head and on my chest....

Did that happen to you?

I am thinking that I should use also on my back too...

My conclusion was that if the sweat stop underarms ...th sweat will find other exits...

Agreed... though I would use it twice a week... only once a week, and I start sweating again.

I also started to sweat more on my back... but there's not much I can do in that circumstance... not exactly easy to reach

That's what happened to me too...I start sweatin more on back and chest...

It makes sense though as you block the sweat underarms it may exit from you chest, back or feet....

Darn it...

At least it will, hopefully, stop the underarms flooding..

I have to weat white shirts in my line of work ...I do stain my shirts due to damn perspiration and I have to do whatever it takes to address my embarrassing problem, thus Drysol could be a good solution...

Pit staining from what I was told is usually due to your deoderant, not necessarily how much you sweat, but when the deodorant/sweat combo get on your shirt and stay there for awhile...

I was the same way as everyone else...the sweat has to go somewhere, and I wouldnt think you'd want to put this anywhere other than your armpits...its pretty harsh stuff and your pits at least can take it. For me after I didnt sweat in the pits it came out more at the base of my neck...which was a lot more difficult to hide lol

yup, i got lazy and quit using it for awhile...sweat came back...after the first week or so, you only have to use it like once(they say, i needed to use it twice) a week to "maintain"

Drysol is some powerfull shit meant for hardcore sweaters.
Prolonged use will really irritate that area.

I did try that before but didnt work very well for me...after one week I quit using it and switched to Drysol..

I used to sweat all the time. It could be 30 degress outside and I would be sweating like it was 90 degress.

I just use it once every two weeks now. But at first I used it every night for 5 or 6 days. Then after that I used it once a week. Seems like the second week was when I noticed results

It just takes a coulple of swipes for each arm pit. Any more will set you arm pits on fire! That shit burns!

I was completely dry as long as I applied it every day. But after the first few days, it started itching like hell, to the point where it affected my sleep. Now that could simply be an alergic reaction that wouldn't happen to most people. But I remember my buddy at the time saying the same thing.

Maybe they've made some improvements to it by now, who knows.

Did you use it only before you went to bed?

I tried it during the day and had no results. I later found out that it only works when used at night cause it slows down your metabolism. Then once I used it right it worked great.
