Anyone ever increase size "accidentily" while they were training for strength?

I am a firm believer that with strength comes size. BUT I also believe that there is slight differences in training for strength vs size/strength. I've gained plenty of muscle from doing heavy lifts like deads, clean and press, bench, rows, etc with 3-5 reps. But I am now lowering weights and trying 6-8 rep range. I'll see how that goes. :)

ps. For all my core lifts, I will always keep them heavy and low reps. I believe the help give that 'thick' look ;)

Just stay on a low carb diet and lift hard. U'll gain like 10lbs and lose 4 after your cycle but your strength will increase a ton. Works for me.

LONG LIVE DINOSAUR TRAINING. It's all about functional strength. I'm so sick of guys that want to be big and train in the 10-12 rep range. I only do functional core exercises I continue to make gains while NOT cycling. Why is this? I through out ALL of my isolation exercises that I used to live and die by. I haven't cycled in months and I'm actually up 10lb. since my last cycle with about the same bodyfat.
