Anyone ever got a phone call from the P.O?

They called him and its going to his house....and he is calling.

Where i'm at, the USPS usually leaves a slip if the package cant be delivered due to size/signature. Then i have to go to the nearest Post Office and pick it up with a photo id that matches
Never heard the USPS calling for a package pickup.

Come to find out that the package(express) got to the post office after the mailman left to make his deliveries. They called to see if he wanted to come pick it up. It was delivered monday morning with no problems....all is good...really good now!!
