Anyone ever buy those economy bags of frozen chicken breast?

you know what, maybe it depends on the brand, or maybe it was this particular piece of breast, but the chicken i had earlier either tasted kinda gamey or like some kind of fish, maybe shark...I don't like it when the meat I'm eating tastes like the meat of a different animal! ;)
 
Hey, I'll vote for the big bag of frozen chicken boobs too. I defrost 'em in the microwave, and then cook 'em up. I love 'em. Tastes like every other chicken I've had.

Maybe it's the onion salt and garlic salt.

Y'know, it occurs to me that perhaps in my half-asleep state that my post may not have made much sense.

I use onion salt and garlic salt to season my chicken. Love it that way, don't care as much for it plain.

If you don't want the salt, there's always onion and garlic powder, which is more potent.
 
UPDATE, I know y'all are real interested!!!

Thanks to Project and his Garlic Salt idea, and my injection of peppers and onions, polarpixie's chicken breast lunch today tasted soooooooo good!!! MMMMmmmmmMMMMmmmmm Good!!!!
 
ill have to try that. i need to eat more. when i cook chiken its usually rubbed in masala :D

I didn't just use garlic salt tho, it was more like garlic salt + oyster sauce + jerk chicken seasoning. My tummy is very full and happy. **you're welcome tummy :D **

Masala's great stuff also!

well its hot anyway. especially the stuff we have at home :D imported from south india...OUCH!

im actually not that big a fan of hot spicy food....im the black sheep of the family ;)
