I found the one head nurse to be a strange turn on. I wanted to rough house her. Like no, bitch. I know you got some feeling in that body and I'm fixing to bring it out.
Saw the movie, read the book. Book is strange (picked it out recently amongst my "books to donate" boxes) forgot it was told from Chief's perspective. Strange to think of McMurphy as being red haired and freckled after seeing Nicholson in the part.
I suppose if you were so inclined, it wouldn't take much to draw parallels between "Cuckoo's Nest" and "Suckerpunch." (i.e., SSDD -- Same Story Different Decade).
I got in a fight with the ex; She called me an asshole and I called her Nurse Ratchad...., apparently she had seen the movie and...she punched me and I said touche... She's an RN.
I agree, if you read the book it isn't nearly as anti-woman. It's all about authority and the one message the movie communicated was that it wasn't about race but power...all the orderlies were black and had a great deal of power in the 1960's...
Yea also the point of view of chief was so much better especially how the author showed his insanity in certain parts changing the scene to how chief sees it all trippy and what not... Well written
