anyone else microwave thier ice cream?

my quart was hard as a rock! snapped 2 steel spoons trying to get a lil taste..

40 seconds in the microwave and 1/2 of the quart is gone now

I've been known to leave it sit on the counter for 5 min to soften, but
I've never nuked it.

if it is real firm then yes. but typically i just leave it on the counter for a bit
