I stopped using hotmail years ago when it was a daily event for me not being able to log in. Not to mention the awful amount of spam I would receive.

Forget hotmail and go with a good service such as gmail.

Ya gmail catches like 99.99999% of my spam. Hotmail lets in at least 50%. I read an article (maybe even written by gmail) that said their spam filter was so good spammers weren't even bothering to spam gmail addresses. They said their number of spam messages was going down every month.
