Anyone else have this much trouble converting Fina?

I am at the final step of filtering with the seringe filter and it seems to be clogged. I tried purging it with the fresh oil, but that didnt help. It is coming out a drop every three seconds and its hurting my hands. Any way to clean the filter. I tried using air but that didnt help. Ant advice?

Sorry, I've never had that problem. I know it does filter slow though. Next time just go with premade.

I wish I knew where to get some pre made. I dont so I had to go this route. Is it absolutely necessary to filter it completely since its gonna get bake at the end for sterilization?

try heating the fina in the vial before filtering it. I had the same problem you did. I boiled some water and set it off the stove and then put the vial to be filtered inside the water for a few minutes. If you find the fina cools down too much before you get it all filtered, then withdraw smaller portions to be filtered. This way you can continue putting the vial in the hot water to warm it up and decrease the viscosity.

That was your only problem ??? Yeah the heating of the oil makes it less viscous and it filters alot easier.

First time I did tried making it I put 2 carts into the magic solution (which was oil not the ba) and had to dump it!! lucky I had 4 more carts.. hehe (brains what brains??)

it might have something to do with the air presure......... when putting into the sterile vial, poke a needle though the top and then try filtering it....... that will equalize the presure......

Yeah I put the other needle through the top to release the pressure. Im going to try heating it up with boiling water. maybe that will help.

Quick question. Is prefiltering with the coffee filter absolutely necessary?

sorry about your mistakes, but damn makeing fina is very simple, way to many problems on this board

p.s. heating fina can hurt the integrity of the roid

Re: you should run it through a coffee filter fist

if it still looks like there is a lot of glue etc. then run it trough another coffee filter again before hitting the syringe filter.

THe pellets are composed of tren acetate and methylcellulose ONLY. There is no glue in the pellets. Its a common misconception.
