China is actually doing something.
They killed that guy over bribes and the fact that he was approving certain drugs for China that were known to be deadly. Here in the U.S. we halt drugs like Vioxx before people die off in multiples. In China, you simply write that guy a check and nobody knows until after the deaths already occur...he was accepting money to approve useless drugs. I'd kill him too.
China doesn't want to send out defective/dangerous products but business is so out of control over there it's going to take a while.
Do you think they really care? Did you not see where the Chinese govt warned us about smearing their reputation? The Chinese followed that threat by banning certain US grains claiming we were sending them bacteria filled grains. In addition, the Chinese claimed there were no anti-freeze residue in toothpaste and our govt was lying. There were also no pollutants in the pet foods and we were supposely making that up too (until the US actually proved the glutine was contaminated)...this is a country where like 90% of their water supply is contaminated with oils and pesticides and they could care less.
Japan at one time was known for selling cheap crap, over time they went high end and their economy hasn't really done much in a decade.
Huh? Toyota, LG, Samsung, Sony, Canon, Sharp, Honda, Fujitsu, Nissan.....cheap crap there.....
Over the last 2.5 years, Japan's economy grew almost double what the US and European Union produced.
For the last economic quarter, Japan outpaced the US 7% vs 4.2%
From 1993 to 2003, Japan struggled with investments and issues with retiring workers. However, their country is on fire recently. Strong work ethic, elderly people who take good care of themselves, NO FUCKING IMMIGRANTS, and solid exporting contracts make Japan the third largest GDP now (not counting oil rich Arab countries that are expanding thru acquisitions).
In fact, the Yen would be stable if the US dollar could recover a little more.
