anyone believe in cycling food/nutrients/vitamins?

i know most people take a multi-vit/min every single day, and that seems like a perfectly good idea. however, on some of the other boards (diet, and i think womens actually) there was some good threads about cycling food (ie. high protein) and vit/mins. there were some good points made about the body becoming used to elevated levels of the nutrients and losing efficiency in metabolising them.
personally i have stopped all multi vit/min and protein shakes for the past 2-3 weeks and when i start enth/tren cycle next month i'll be going back heavy on them. basically just maintenance diet right now.
anyone think there is validity to cycling nutrients, in the same manner we cycle AAS?

I think of CKD (cyclic ketogenic diet) as cycling nutrients...I dont get too used to carbs and they have a seemingly anabolic effect :)

5 days low carb, 2 days high carb - this is what i do. protein intake does therefore vary accordingly. longer food cycles occur naturally for me, i cannot stand the shakes forever, have to take a break once in a while.
i ve never heard of cycling vitamins/minerals.

Paul Chek advocates a rotational diet. It would not really be cycling at all but it is interesting. On day one whatever you eat for breakfast you do not eat again until day 4 i believe. It deffinately might be a good idea for mixing up your nutrients, but for conveneints and also going just on the amount of foods that i like this would be hard to acctually follow. But maybe i will give it a try one time.

Yes I cycle everything!!!

Low carbs M-F, but higher on wo days (Tues, Thurs, and Sat), with a much higher carb day on Sat, Sun being an recoup day.

Higher protein M-F, very low protein on Sat, mod protein on Sun.

Fat normal intake M-F (30 grams), Ultra low on sat due to high carb intake. Sun still somewhat low but not like Sat.

Vitamins taken M-F, skip the weekends.

I don't cycle protein powder, or go longer w/o vitamins-valerie
