Anyone been to Cabo, Ft.Lauderdale, Padre Island lately

Shit!....I can't make up my mind where to go for Spring Break this year. I went to Cabo 3 years ago and it was a blast but Cancun blew that out of the water the following year. My buddies can't afford Cancun (They are actually in school and it is a real spring break!). I have never been to Ft. Lauderdale or South Padre. Cabo is more mellow than Cancun but again I have not been there since 1999. Anyone go recently to any of these recently....
If not I guess Vegas is a 45 minute flight away........

Cancun the best for Spring Break (crazywise)

Ft Lauderdale is no longer a true spring break destination. Try Panama city.
