Anyone been to Budapest Hungary??

Im thinking about possibly relocating there for a while, but dont know much about what to expect. How are the people there? What's the area like? I've heard the language barrier can be a real bitch... dont know how much truth there is to that though. Any info from people that have been there would be much appreciated.

Not sure compared to South Florida, but compared to where I live (Toronto, Canada) it is quite expensive.
