Anyone a stand-up comic?

Seriously. I wanna get into the business. I love stand-up comedy. I have several bits myself. I wanna see if there is an open-mic night or something at a club somewhere. Is that what I would do?

First off, learn how to be humorous to other people. I can't stress that enough. Second, learn how to deal with people not laughing because that's one skill you'll get plenty of use out of.

you'd be a great stand up comic. all you'd have to do is get up on stage and stand there and say nothing and everyone would point and laugh at you and throw their feces in your direction.

or hell - just get a milk crate and go out on a street corner and stand on the carton and do your bit.

if it fails, just start screaming religious stuff - always funny.
