Anybody work @ the post office or knows somebody that does?

I'm having to decide what I wanna do when I get out. (if I get out) I'm contemplating ALOT of different options. My uncle has worked for the post office for a long time, and makes REALLY good money. So I'm thinking I could work @ the post office, make some decent money (I got a family to support), and be able to go to college at night. I would also have the opportunity to eat all the time too and continue elevate my bodybuilding career. Thoughts, opinions?

I thought you were going to be receiving a full time paycheck from the Army while you went to school.

Anyway, my ex-father-in-law worked for the post office. He was just a simple mail carrier and he generally loved it. He did it for years. Once you're out on your route, you're your own boss. However, as a new employee, you'd have to deliver to the ghetto places. Lots of walking though.

Sounds like a solid opp. to be totally honest. I had a friend who went to work for the P.O right out of High school, the guy is a genius, test off the charts all that shit. He retired this year, fucker!

Well I researched it, and it's not what I thought it was at all.

plus, I figure I can take a little cooler in my truck w/ protein shakes in it and food, and I can be juiced to the gills cuz they won't test me for roids.

As far as the post office, it's a solid job and I think you'll come in at a higher pay scale due to prior government work. It's a job I've considered a couple times.
