I'm so obsessed with financial security and stability that I now have 3 jobs.

One full time job (M-F 40 hours)

One part time job (M-F 25 hours).

And a weekend landscaping business that I'm trying to grow.

yay for me. :worried:

I sorta do.

(1) Insurance services / finance / litigation

(2) Pharma marketing

(3) Real estate / construction / investment

But I handle it all out of the same office / workplace, even though they are diffrent companies.

That's awesome. Work hard and get what you want...

Sometimes there's a tradeoff though in working too much. Depending on what kind of work you do. For example, if you worked at a minimum wage job (I'm not implying you do) then you could work 100 hours a week and still not get ahead. If you're young enough and really want the big bucks, go after the big money jobs. I have no idea what you do, so it may not be applicable here.

What do you do? Also concentrating on one thing, like the Landscaping for example, because there's no limit to it's size potential, can reap great rewards. I see that you're doing it right by doing it on weekends until it blossoms (pun ha) and maybe open other avenues.

Good luck. a.

I am on co-op right now and workig at a night club mostly on weekends. but i have worked a 77 hour week and a 70 hour week backl to back.. the club had shit load of concerts that i worked after work... but im down to a 52 hour work week now.. which isn't bad

I work full time for the state of Texas working with mentally retaurded and handicapped people. ( the money kinda sucks but alot of benefits and free health insurance).

I work part time being a Butcher (good money, but hard work).

I want to be as debt free as possible in life.

I did when I was 21. I'd work my fulltime day job for 8 hrs, then go to a part time job for 4-5 hrs that closed at 10. Then I'd go bounce till 3 am for another 4 hrs. Then I'd have to be at work again at 8:340 am. I only worked the 2 part time jobs 3-4 days a week, but fuck it sucked when I had to do all 3 in one day. Thats like a 17 hr workday.
I was averaging 70-80 hrs a week.

I do.

I like working jobs / tasks that can lead me forward to bigger better things.

Time is measured in quality -- and time i'm spending on monkey crap that does nothing but bring a paycheck for the now -- i try to avoid:

1) Web Software Technologist

2) Vice-President of a Canadian Entertainment and Talent Services Foundation

3) Investor, Advisor and Developer of 3 technology startups.

4) Guitar Teacher for High-Profile clients with little time.

I also whore myself out to hot chicks. But business has been slow lately.

i work a typical 9-5 office job but would like to do something part time to bring in an extra $1000 a month... maybe personal training?
