Anybody know where I can get movies(tv/films)...ideally wmv or mpeg and not streaming

I know I can get WMV and MPEGs on limewire, but you don't always know what your getting with that. Wouldn't mind paying for the movies if the price is right. But also wanna know some methods which are free of charge

These movies will be for my new Mp3 player.- Any suggestions ?
