Anybody Know If Cops Arrest?

Anyone know what the cops do, if they busted you with only an 8 week cycle, like 500mgs a week? Is that even enough, to arrest you? Would they arrest you on the spot? Would they set your bail, or throw away the key? How much is bail? Any help would be appreciated
