does anybody live off the stock market? Any daytraders around? Im just gonna start doing some daytrading on pennystocks and I'm wondering if theres any other bbuilder that does that for living or for the big bucks

keep an eye on MDMN and look for a press release about an illegal short position being caught. This is not a daytrade but more of a play for the next three weeks

my girl is... feel free to PM her .. bondgirl2217 if you have any questions about the market... she's an options trader.

Just tell her I told you to, or she might shrug and delete it. :)

hey thanks for all the replys, thanks for the advise, keep them coming,
im not gonna invest money that i can't afford to lose, im investing money and willing to learn. I've been following the market for some time and i've decided its time to invest, but not a huge amount of money of course, i want to get used to that psychologycal factor of the market first and then ill decide when its time to do it hands full.

see you,

say this with me...."investing good, day trading bad"

seriously, forget day trading...few if any make money consistently doing this, especially in a market like we have now. When the market was booming several years ago alot of people thought they were stock "genuises". What they failed to realize was that it wasn't their brillance but simply the fact that the overall market was doing so well. You could probably have let a chimp pick your "tech" stocks and he would have made a killing. But you see what happened when the bubble burst. good luck.

Arthus i used to trade pennies for my sole source of income but now i just trade on the side when i have time, what method of trading pennies you gonna use? btw i've been trading pennies since 98

your best bet to make money is just to invest in the index (index fund) averaged over 5 years you should get a return of about 20% depending on the index
