anybody here rock climb?

Serious question. I use to lift weights before like 2 years back then got into rock climbing. When i got serious about it, i had to drop weight, because being too muscular works against you (much more stress and weight on your fingers, tendons, elbows, and forearms) when you start climbing tiny edges, crimps, and small feet pegs. So i went from 185, to 160 so far. I'm gettin to that level where i need to increase my strength to weight ratio dramatically.

The people that climb really well, probably have that 3-4% bruce lee physique, but with larger forearms biceps and backs, it looks kinda abnormal, but thats what you need to have when you're pullin all your weight with just 1 or 2 fingers in a shallow pocket on a completely horizontal over hang.

if you want to see what im talkin about go here:

http://www.bigupproductions.com/bigUpSite2/initial.html

Go to the left side menu, click on extras, then click on video clips, then when the selections pulls up, click on the 2nd one titled Big Up Dose: The Ozarks and watch the preview for it which is about 4 minutes long but catches the essence of what i want to accomplish.

Since i've been rock climbing, almost all the people i climb with are vegetarians natural/organic eaters and barely supplement at all, no whey, no thermogenics, no nothing, so when i mention about roiding up its completely alien and asinine to them. So if i start, i might be the first climber to actually cycle up.

I just wanted advice, that if you guys were to do this, what would you cycle with to get the strength, endurance and physique specifically for rock climbing? I mean, to get the strength to do one armed 2 finger pull ups type strength :qt:

I've alreadly lost 15 lbs or so just dieting, losing 5 more lbs of fat on clen. What would you recommend i start with? Keep in mind that this is all im gonna be doing, is just climbing, no gym or weights, that, and i'll be riding my bike everyday like 11 miles (distance from home to rock climbin center) for cardio.

Being that you are a female your options are limited for AAS unless you dont care about your repo system looks etc.I believe the type of training u do in the gym is more important than AAS.But if you would like to try AAS I would say low dose primo with Var would be a good choice. Then again this could be counterproductive in some instances do some research before trying AAS.Good luck climbing.Sorry I dint read the last part u wont be using the gym only climbing hopefully that will work 4 u.

Halo might be a good option. You want lots of strength without weight gain, and no muscle pumps!! I guess you know what happens when your forearms get a major pump going

Does anyone know of other steroids that don't give much of a pump or weight gain?

He's an athlete just like the rest of us. Where else is he gonna find this information? This site is one of the best I know of for odd info like this. Or there's always RockClimbingSteroids.com ;)

Hey Agent, you may could use halo as your base and throw a low dosed prop/tren on top of that. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

I used to climb back in college but never that serious. When I really got into lifting and went from 145 to 165 the first year, I could really see why all the top climbers stayed so thin! I'ld say you could try some var, with a lot of sport specific exercises. Do you have one of those boards for doing pullups with different grips and finger holds (sorry its been awhile, don't know what they're called)?

Yeah I do. I do that as routine after i climb. I use the 3 finger pull up, then 2 fingers, the small tiny edge part thats for crimp pull ups... And i also use it to do one armed lock offs so i can start doing one armed pull ups.

My rock center also has a lil gym, so i use some of the 80'lb dumbells, and hold 'em till failure for my grip. I also use the pull down machine with a single hand ring and lock off with one arm for 10 seconds, then do slow negative when i release for 10 seconds at 160lbs 10x

I'll try the var first

I never say anything about off topic threads cuz the diet and supp boards don't get much traffic (and those are usually the OT ones) , but what the hell is this thread still here for?

My bad bro. Sorry. I'd go with Winny or Anavar or something that will yield a greater dtrength increase, but not so much a size increase. At the same time, diet will also be the most crucial factor regardless.

Thanks bro... diet is down, gonna go with anavar!

I wonder why anybody hasnt mentioned Tren? Couldnt you gain a ton of strength with some tren and not gain weight if your diet was insufficient? Just convert some of that fat to muscle? Correct me if I am totally wrong here, I don't know too much about tren, but it seems that ive heard things along those lines....

I mentioned tren briefly (with prop). I think the main concern with tren, var or test would be the muscle pumps, if you get them. Maybe I'm just overreacting about the stupid pumps though!! Just start experimenting. Surely your performance won't decrease if you're on the juice. Nothing to lose =)
