Anybody else have DirecTV??????

Just wondering how many of you have DirecTV. If not I highly recommend it. Its way better than cable, cheaper,more channels,better picture and a shitload of pay per view channels(no more renting and having to bring the movies back).

Anyway, figured I'd pass that along.

i got it, i have had it since it cost 749 dollars... yes, that is right, i paid 749 dollars for mine and now it is 49 dollars!!! but hey, i havent missed an eagles game in 6 years!

Buy an old receiver with the old blue card and have it programmed so you pay for the basic service and get every channel! They zap the signal every now and then but you just program it again and you are in business! Direct tv is good but the big dishes are better in terms of price and channels.If you are a big porn fan the big dish is MUCH BETTER and you do not have to pay for each program rather you get all the movies and then some. Get it for free because direct tv only 3 or so years ago made it possible for us to not pay for a YEARS SERVICE LIKE OUR FRIEND ABOVE PLUS THE EQUIPMENT COST and then everybody and their brother went out and bought it.You can get dtv in other countries and my CANADIAN FRIENDS IT IS TOO EASY! GET A MAILING ADDRESS FROM SOMEONE STATESIDE AND HAVE THEM PURCHASE AN ADDITIONAL RECEIVER AND THEN GO HOME AND HOOK IT UP! If you get your card programmed NEVER HOOK UP THE PHONE LINE SO THEY CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE WATCHING!!! GOOD LUCK

Damn, bomber thats alot of money compared to now. If anyone's tv has S-video, definetly use it, its worth the xtra $ for the(S-video) cable, it improves the picture alot.

Hardbody, make sure the jackass that installs it, installs EVERYTHING including the phone jack. If you don't they will try to screw with some kind of phone-in asstance fee everytime you buy a ppv program.
