Im sure im not the only one who would be interested to know any real ways to get tested that is confidential.
Any real confidential testing?

HIV testing security can be done in several ways. If you go to your local doctor to have it done and you recieve a positive result, they might report your name to DPH even without your knowledge. If you go into an AIDS organization to have it done it will probably be confidential or annonoums. Confidential means that if the test result is positive, your name would not be reported until and if you had advanced to 'full blown' AIDS. Annonoums testing has your name and a code number on one sheet and your blood sample with the code number but no name on it. When you recieve your result you ask the clinic to reference the code number so no name link can be done regardless of the result. Also, even when test results are reported to most DPH's, they use an unique identifier instead of a name. For example, mine is syl0526617371; that's all DPH gets. Thanks! Alan.
