4th of July celebrations, they block off any parking from certain residential streets.....things is, they post a sign literally the day before, any cars still there when it comes time gets towed......

My car was towed 3 times off Madison, 31st and 25th street in the course of one summer in NYC. There were never any signs that DOT stated were up.

It was always a nightmare to find my car - it was easier to walk up and down Park Ave and find it than call the DOT directly. When it was towed off 31st a homeless man told me where my car was - I bought him a breakfast sandwich anytime I saw him after that.
