That is hilarious. I posted either on ehre or ology about this gym. That is the gym my father works out at and I wanted to get a 2 week membership while I was home on leave. Not only is there no grunting ut you are not allowed to deadlift. They say it will intimidate the other members. That's my hometown lol. Used to be a hardcore Golds where I worked out.

LOLOLOLOL I just called him and you won't believe this. I didnt read the article so I dont know if they touched on it, but they have something at this gym called a "lunk alarm". Apparently a lunk is someone who grunts or makes any kind of noise in the gym. If you grunt they set off this big alarm with red flashing lights. I shit you not I can't make this up.
