Sorry if this is in the wrong section...had a hard time finding one that could fit this question.

I was just curious about the modeling business. Like what is the best route to go for me to start something like this?

I'm not into it yet, but my sister and fiance are both models. You have to make up a comp card first and then submit them to agencies. They will sign you if they want and then you'll get work through them.

A comp card is an 8" by 5 1/2" card with a large pic of you on the front and then 4 small ones on the back. It has your contact info, agency, and all your stats.

You should be a model mak! I've had a couple offers lately for some local shoots. I've never really pursued it though cause I like tattoos. The people that offered wanted me with my tats though, so who knows.

Thanks bro. You should go for it too. I'm in the process of getting an agent and manager now. My comp cards are done. I've already been contacted by some poeple, including casting agents, and I haven't even sent my cards out yet. We'll see what happens with it. I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks. I will be soon. Krishna, I got my cards made by professionals in L.A. My fiance is a model and has all the contacts. Agencies don't cost anything to sign with. They make their money getting you work. The casting directors contacted me because they saw my pics on the Internet, so I didn't need an agency for that.
