any good gyms in Pensacola?

i have the option of working out on the navy base but i also would like to become a member of a gym over there. anyone know a good one that has good free weights and isn't prudish about things?

Hey Steve, I'm over in Mobile...45mins from p cola. I know theres some anytime fitness gyms in pcola. I train at one in Mobile. They have power racks to squat and bench in. I know my gym and a couple other Anytimes are prettly laid back. You can grunt, fart, and scream all you want.

P-Cola is a SHIT HOLE! I went there a year or 2 ago for my cousins wedding and I vow to never go back! All the houses on the "beach" down there were foreclosed or up for sale...The bars and "clubs" were run down shitholes...WEAK!

I dont know how the GYM will still be open, I only saw like 4 people that lived there for the entire week I was there lol

I would imagine that the base has a decent gym. I know on air force bases gyms are usually pretty well equipped.

yes there is anytime fitness. but from what the guy told me there were no free weights since its open 24 hours. not sure if thats what i am looking for.. i love my free weights.
i will have to go check it out and see if i can handle it.

i do like that you can scream and grunt though. lol

it is a shit hole.. the whole panhandle is the bible belt backwardssy capital of the world.. i've read the town does not allow growth. the population has actually shrunk the past 20 years.

but in a weird way i kinda like it. the quiet beaches, clear water.. and not having to worry about 5pm traffic is gonna be nice.

only reason i am going is cause the navy sent us there.

the foreclosure thing is all over FL, not just pscola. my neighborhood has several abanonded homes..

if i end up staying there i will be able to buy a beachfront home for dirt cheap, who knows. some saw homes on the bay with a view on the harbor, renting for just 850 lol. cost of living is dirt cheap

Anytime should have freeweights...I just joined one that just opened in the shopping plaza that I work at during the day for AT&T. They have freeweights there and are open 24 hours.
