Oh well Warik, I'm glad you got a couple of straight answers before this thread went off on a Wild Tangent....

All driving ranges and course's have Rental clubs.
Before you get too into this though I would sugguest getting an Into set of clubs that can be had on sale for $150 or so.

I am sure it was fun for the guys to watch Toga tee up her ball though.

Summer rates are almost here in PHX.......get these snowbirds out of here and it will be time to play.

Although I don't make it a habit of playing golf with women, there are exceptions and toga would be one of them. I'd even let her use my putter.

If she was playing, I wouldn't care what the rates were!! ;)

Hey Golfer18, are you hitting that Pro V1 363 yards? Pretty damn impressive, you must be a strong mother. I wonder what you could do with an Ultra Distance, or a Pinnarock?

I just got back from AZ, where I rolled one to the fringe on a 360 yard par 4, it wasn't a great swing but I had a pretty big back wind. It's funny to watch the reaction of the people on the green as my ball rolls up, and they realize I'm still on the tee. LOL. Then I accidently air mailed one about 50 yards past their carts a couple holes later (they were in a gully) and figured I better take it easy the rest of the way around.

What course did you play out here in AZ?

I was playing at The Quarry in San Antonio when i hit that drive........number 15. Fucking nailed it. Instead of my ball coming off the club face normal, its more off a rocket, like up then forward. I find it makes golf a lot more fun since my short game is just as good. My dad and his friends laugh when i hit it. I love golf but i dont feel like playing it now. I have more interesting things like women that i like.:D Yeah thats the 19 year old in me.:D

I suck at golf... you may not. Anyone know of any literature (book, website???) that may reduce the probability of me hitting the ball 100 yards (or is it feet?) and having it curve over the net-fence of the driving range and attack the group of golfers with the $1,000,000 clubs trying to play.

Anybody??? Come on WODIN... you're golfing age... you should be pretty good by now. =)

The best thing to do is to take some classes if it hasnt been done yet. Once you have the good swing everything will be allright, at least not as bad as before.

Hey Rudedog, I hit the big drive (several of them actually) at Camelback, on the old course. Also played Orange Tree and Sun Ridge Canyon. Sweet courses, and Scottsdale rocks.

Yep Snottsdale........errrrrrrrrr I mean Scottsdale is definately the happening town in the PHX area. Next time you come out you need to hit Gold Canyon....... #1 rated public course in AZ. Outstanding!!!!!! Nothing like hitting off a tee box between 2 mountains about 100yds above the green. Check it out :
