Any dippers here?

I been hooked on Copenhagen for 25 years and have no plan to give it up

I quit using the patches about 2 years ago.
Worked pretty well but honestly you never really stop wanting it so be prepared to deal with that for the rest of your life. It does get easier of course as time goes on.
 
I am only 25 so I don't have a huge amount of chew hours logged but I started at 15,I would chew a can to a can and a half a day. Last few years I started getting acid reflux very bad from it. About 3 months ago I finished a can and said I'll never do it again. So far I havnt craved it or even thought of buying a can. I do crave chocolate very bad tho and that isn't helping my struck diet at all.

Copenhagen straight? And yeah I know guys I've been only doing it for a few years and do love it..I just know its such a nasty habit! Started it in high school and always done It ever since. Also since I'm an aas user in rarely ever drink alcohol so it's kind of like my thing. Damn guys...like to see other dippers perspectives
 
I started dipping Copenhagen long cut the day I got to my unit and was hooked. Quitting took me two years after I had decided to. It was rough but it tore my mouth up so I had no choice, loose my jaw or kick the habit.

It's hard for me on my cut to not throw in a fat chew during my low intensity cardio. I will say that there is nothing better than relaxing after a workout with a dip in to really think about what you accomplished. Mostly grizzly or skoal extra for the price, but hey, I'm only 19, what do you expect

I love the postworkout dip... Copenhagen or grizzly. Ben dippin for awhile now 13years or so. I know is bad for you but I enjoy it.

I did for a few years,2 cans a day,usually on my long ass drives to work. look up this stuff called smokey mountain chew,its tobacco free natural shit, helped kick the nicotine habit then I realized it was putrid shit and would gag if I popped a plug in and was free from it in about a month.
 
I got into dipping About 15 years ago. I was a baseball player and huge fan and decided to try it cuz it seemed all MLB players did, I do about 2 cans of grizzly a day, need to stop, too damn expensive, quit a few times but started back up cuz quitting made me friggin constipated

You have to get it online or is it sold in gas stations? Hope it doesn't taste like shit haha. I honestly enjoy it a lot.
 
I dip. Usually I will use whatever is cheap such as "Grizzly". I'll usually do it for a few months at a time. I don't have problems stopping cold turkey at that point.

If you want to quit you may want to take a look at supplementing with galantamine. Galantamine upregulates nicotinic acid receptors. Chew gum to satisfy the oral craving.

The other thing to consider is switching to something like Camel SNUS. SNUS stimulate much less spit. I don't have to lug around a spittoon when I use SNUS.

For 5 years now of heavy usage. Not a can a day or any shit like that but prob a can every 3-4 days. Need to stop bad, but it's like second nature at work and the added appetite suppression is nice when cutting. It's literally the best thing to have when drinking for me also haha! I go super heavy when drinking. Skoal mint xtra FTW because it's 3.15 but have been using cope southern blend because its new and has an introductory price of 2.13. So I'll milk that for awhile.
 
Oak how the hell do you do two cans a day!?! Do you put it in for 10 min then refresh it? Or do you just throw in obscene horseshoes all day. 2 cans is just nuts. Even the guys that I work with that have been doing it religiously, at most go though 3/4 can a day and they work from 5 to 6 13 hour day with me. Haha I have never ever heard of somebody doing 2 cans in a day Lol
 
Haha yeah two cans a day is actually a lot.. Glad to see other people on here participating..didn't think I would get many responses. And yes I have to agree with above poster its great to throw one in especially when cutting..haha suppresses the hell out of you

I def had a huge chunk in there,more if I was chewing redman, two cans was at my peak working 15 hour days on a dairy farm, couldnt smoke in the barns so I started dipping.

I miss it and when I goto the states I grab a can for a nice treat. there is under 5 bucks a can,here its 15 because tax is so high, another reason to quit, if I lived in michigan where is 4 bucks a can id never stop
 
Ive been dipping cope fine cut since I was a small child ;) . I switch to pouches every now and then but I doubt i'll ever be able to stop. every girl ive dated starts off bitching about it and then i switch to cope pouches and they deal with it.
I have a super genius biologist researcher friend that dips too and he's been looking for a downside of smokeless tobacco since we were in college 15 yrs ago and he can't find any solid evidence thats it causes mouth, lip, gum cancer.

i did dip in high school. i have treid it over a year ago. tastes like shit to me. I liked Kodiak Ice was my favorite. they quit making it.

now I only like smokin a cig every once in a great while. oh and cigars, love those too
 
I've been dipping for 16 years. Copenhagen snuff was all I used to chew then grizzly came out cheap as shit!! I've wanted to quit but i love a huge fucking scooby snack!! My wife bitches about it because I have to have a dip to fall asleep and one night she was asleep on my chest and I passed out with my spitter in my left hand and sure as shit my wife got some Copenhagen shampoo ha ha lol!!! Since then I switched to Copenhagen pouches to try and cut back but I've gotten worse with them. A big dip after a hard lift is the best!!

Thats straight buddy, haha you hold the record in my book, but its almost rocket fuel for long days, and especially long drives.
 
Copenhagen has been fucking my gums for 13 years. Still had to fall asleep with a dip in my mouth in front of the tv lmao... It's my nightly ritual. It screws up my meal schedule sometimes too. BAD HABIT!!!!
 
Well I was going to quit after 14 years due to cost....then Grizzly came out!!! $3.85 a tin....I'm now a lifer......!!!

For some reason I can't handle the wintergreen anymore so I stick to grizzly mint.
Kodiak used to be over $6 along with Skoal, no idea what it costs now. Copenhagen is terribly hard to keep in one place, I'll have the stuff all over the place.

Haha awesome I learned on mint grizz now that stuff will have me puking in 10 mins or less. Kodak is $5 and lasts me a month.
