Any car audio savvy here?

I found 2 nice speakers and an amp next to the dumpster. Checked ohm resistance and they seem to be good. Don't know about the amp. I opened it though, and nothing looks burned.

Can anybody guide me on how to quickly (and properly) hook everything up to the car system to test them??

there is quite a bit of wiring involved. because it was in the dump i dunno why someone would throw it. the amp is most likely destroyed, speaker might work so you can hook that up in your car temporarily and see if they are ok.
i say take the amp to pawn shop and get some money. this way if they know something about them they will test it and you can know if it works for sure.

there is really no easy way to check the amp. But as for the speakers or subs (whichever they are), you could hook it up to a home audio system momentarily just to see if its blown or not. Dont blast it though because those home audio recievers are generally paired up with higher impedance speakers and if its a sub its more than likely 2 or 4 ohm which is alot for the reciever to handle. So just be smart about it. The pawn shop idea was a good idea for the amp.
