NO. The wide arms are to simulate wide arm fully extended incline presses, they give the chest a full range of motion and flexion that supplement my chest pressing movements. They also allow for incorporation of the rotator cuff muscles which supplement benching presses.
Basically, the pushups are to incline dumbell presses as the treadmill is to running outside. A supplement to the primary.
