I'm looking for advice on a first cycle and not sure where else to turn. I've been contemplating for a while and after weeks of research I'm as confused as ever! It seems every steroid has side effects that require another to counter! Before it's over I'll be using 4-5 products and this is a little overwhelming for a rookie! I want to keep it simple and short (8 weeks) and hope this to be my first and last cycle! I'm involved in a sport that requires a great deal of explosive power (mostly legs and back) and strength to weight is important.
A little background on me: 36yo, 5'9", 185lbs w/ 7%bf...these are my normal stats. I have trained consistantly in the gym for 15 yrs but due to an injury and 2 month layoff I am currently at 175lbs and pretty week comparitively. i have a healthy diet and supplement with a lot of protein. I have a month to prepare for the season and although I don't expect miracles, I'd like to get back to my normal size and strength (a little extra would be a nice as well). I have arthritic knees due to multiple surgeries so something that's easy on the joints would be nice. This was my initial plan:
NPP 100mgs e3d
Winny 25-50mg ed (I hoped these two would cancel each other out on the joint pain but after reading more, I'm scared to try Winstrol)
Clomid pct
I take glu/con/msn for the knees but I'm looking into Adequan Equine or Aflutop to take out the creaks! Anyone have experience with these products?
After reading countless reviews I am set on NPP as a base. I've read a lot of recommendations of adding Test Prop to a cycle of Durabolin as well as HCG to avoid sexual disfunction and to keep natural production up...is this necessary? Also, I'm scared to death of Deca so please don't recommend it for my joints. I'm looking for lean gains with minimal water retention and a max weight of 195lbs. I've seen a ton of suggested cycles/dosages in the forums but i feel most of them are geared toward bodybuilders over (sport)athletes. I'm grateful for any advice!
