Another rookie...NPP for explosive athletes?

I'm looking for advice on a first cycle and not sure where else to turn. I've been contemplating for a while and after weeks of research I'm as confused as ever! It seems every steroid has side effects that require another to counter! Before it's over I'll be using 4-5 products and this is a little overwhelming for a rookie! I want to keep it simple and short (8 weeks) and hope this to be my first and last cycle! I'm involved in a sport that requires a great deal of explosive power (mostly legs and back) and strength to weight is important.

A little background on me: 36yo, 5'9", 185lbs w/ 7%bf...these are my normal stats. I have trained consistantly in the gym for 15 yrs but due to an injury and 2 month layoff I am currently at 175lbs and pretty week comparitively. i have a healthy diet and supplement with a lot of protein. I have a month to prepare for the season and although I don't expect miracles, I'd like to get back to my normal size and strength (a little extra would be a nice as well). I have arthritic knees due to multiple surgeries so something that's easy on the joints would be nice. This was my initial plan:

NPP 100mgs e3d
Winny 25-50mg ed (I hoped these two would cancel each other out on the joint pain but after reading more, I'm scared to try Winstrol)
Clomid pct

I take glu/con/msn for the knees but I'm looking into Adequan Equine or Aflutop to take out the creaks! Anyone have experience with these products?

After reading countless reviews I am set on NPP as a base. I've read a lot of recommendations of adding Test Prop to a cycle of Durabolin as well as HCG to avoid sexual disfunction and to keep natural production up...is this necessary? Also, I'm scared to death of Deca so please don't recommend it for my joints. I'm looking for lean gains with minimal water retention and a max weight of 195lbs. I've seen a ton of suggested cycles/dosages in the forums but i feel most of them are geared toward bodybuilders over (sport)athletes. I'm grateful for any advice!

If anything add maybe even 200-300 mg test enan or cyp per week if it messes your sex drive up a little. It may not be totally necessary to take test or hcg but it really varies person to person. I just finished my run of oral winny to my test e, eq, npp cycle and am soon dropping the npp and will be switching to tren ace and possibly add masteron. but then again I'm getting ready for a comp.
 
p.s. npp does help lube my joints like deca but does it way faster. This will be a decent cycle for you esp if you already have a good diet and training regimen already in tact.

thanks for the advice! i was a bit locked onto the npp for the joint issues but after reading up on aflutop (it sounds like a miracle compound for my knees) i will look into a base that isn't detectable for so long. so i guess i'm back to question 1...

what is a good mix for explosive athletes that are looking for 10-15 lbs of solid shit to help get the wheels rollin' a little quicker?

i'm researching but there are so many conflicting testimonials out there! my eyes are bugging out from looking at this screen. i could've read 'war and peace' by now...twice!

I would say If you are going to do a cycle for only 8 weeks that I would run the NPP at at least 150mg e3d if not 200mg and also use some dbol for the first 3 or 4 weeks and for sure test prop at 100mgeod or since its your first e3d. FOr the dbol 25mg ed would be a nice start. I think that of 8 weeks would get you what you're looking for. I do howver doubg if you decide to try it that it will be your 1st and last cycle. lol.
 
Ive always used Npp instead of deca. Like everyone has said it starts faster and leaves faster so if for any reason you wanted to drop. there wont be any hanging around like deca would. its the same thing. one just works faster than the other.

npp is still detectable for up to a year

Yep, sure would. I love it, major strength gains from it too. Unlike deca which you'll run around 5-600mg/wk, you'll get the same benefit on NPP at half the dosage. I always got best results from 300mg/wk
