another infection from primo ace

ok well my quad just got better from my last injection infection and i figured i mabey pushed in a hair when i shot it in or a peice of dust fell on my needle when i shot, i just did another primo shot a few days ago in my delt and im pretty sure its infected again and im back on anti biotics , i know i dident push in a hair cuz i waxed it all off a few days b4, so im sure its my primo, could i just add more BA and refilter and bake again to assure all the bacteria is gone? would that work?

don't pin it again--something is very wrong. i am not a home brewer so can't help there, but 2x is not a coincidence.

i may even see a doc to make sure you do not have a larger infection--watch your body temp --if it goes up run to the doc

Out of curiosity, what kind of infections? Are you getting any pus from boils or running a fever?

nah no fever, no redness or pus or itching, its just painful to the touch, hard to raise my arm above my head, and a lil warm, its like the way it feels after u shoot, that knot feeling u get, but this is like 100 times exagerated then that

Did you have any lab tests to determine that there was an infection? I have done injects a few times that left me with no desire to sit down because my butt hurt so bad for nearly a week. Sometimes the BA content can be so much that alot of pain and swelling can come from that alone. When you do inject, deep tissue massage like mad at that area. I mean, really dig into that area with a knuckle or your thumb really hard for several minutes. Also, hit that area 3 more times for the next 4 hours or so. Without a culture or quick latex panel of a sample taken from your blood stream or injection site, there is no way to know if you have an infection...unless you have pus running from the infection site or you start running a fever. A ton of Benzyl Alcohol can cause alot of pain at the injection site for nearly a week. If it is a sub-q or related infection you would normally be on a sulfa-drug-antibiotic or a cephalathin derivative.

naw i dident take any test, this is my first time useing any short acting ester, so i dident know what to expect, i only put in 3% BA ( i made it from powder) i made sure everything was clean and everything, it looks perfect too, i shot it in my quad 2 weeks ago and i still dont have full range of motion back but its getting better,( it was so bad i could barley stand the first week) i was thinking i should add 1 more % BA and filter it again and put it in new steril vials, and mabey cut it with some filterd oil when i shoot, is that ok donnie?

You should probably upgrade to a platinum membership and post this same question in the plat area. Benzyl Benzoate might alleviate some of the pain, but if you upgrade to plat you might find better advice already posted before you even ask. If I knew how to give you a free and temporary plat membership I would, but I still haven't figured that out yet. It is probably time for me to hop on the shortbus to bed.

Does not sound like an infection.
I would guess it just a damn painful shot.
You might be very sensitive to the components like the BA or even the primo itself.
