another IM from the ex...This is my last thread ever...

so you saw the one I posted yesterday.

Well I didn't hear from her all day yday, but when I got home from a friend's house at night she had IM'd me saying "I hope you had a good day".

I replied with (summarized) "exGirlfriend please don't do this. You know what I want and I'd do anything to work this out, but everytime you talk to me it hurts. Until you can make your mind up we do not need to talk anymore. I will be moving on with my life as I'm sure you are doing with yours. Bye"

then logged off, turned my cell off for the night.
 
I'm thru with this girl completely now because:

1. She broke up with me supposedly over me having problems with her guy freinds.....that is something that can be worked out. Relationships will always have delimas, how you work them out determines how successful it is. This girl gave up way too easily, esp. with the way she told me she felt.

2. She has had nearly a week to come back. If she had issues or needed to think about things that's plenty of time.

3. If she's trying a new guy out, she's using me as a safety net. It shouldn't take anybody this much time to decide what they want if they are miserable or regreting a breakup. (see #2).

Whatever her reasoning is I'm finished.
 
good move but you shouldn't have done it "with anger" because you know she wants to respond to that, as you would. You should've done it completely emotionless and robotic.

I expressed no anger what-so-ever. I even stated how "I would do anything to work this out".

I love this girl. I just realize I'm being strung along and whatever her reasoning, it's not good, so I'm outta here.

Off the cell, off IM, and it's good I'm 28 & she's 20...less of a chance of running into each other.

I just know that on down the road she's gonna look back and regret this. By then it'll be too late.

I will regret this forever too, but it wasn't my call on breaking up.

She's made it clear now though. Otherwise one of those IM's she sent would've said something like "Meet me at ****, we need to talk".

I know the way I felt about her I couldn't have ended it so easily without knowing it DEFINITLY needed to be ended.

I know I know. My mistake. She's now off my IM. Also I haven't heard from her today, so maybe she is granting my wish about not talking.

Yes, I do want to get back w/her, but read my 3 reasons for knowing better.

what 28 yr old guy would try to get into a serious relationship with a 20 yr old girl for? at that age all they care about is a nice big cock in their kitty, no 20 yr old girl is going to be ready to settle down, and if i was 28 i wouldnt expect the girl to settle down, imo that is a huge age difference, and i would of just tried to get the booty call and move on

Let me explain:
We got set up by mutual dating friends. He is 25 and she is 23. Both me and my ex assumed we were their ages. After the first date we found out otherwise (28 & 20). We hit it off so well on that first date though that we went out again anyways. Throughout the month things only got more and more perfect. Age didn't seem to matter.

...that was until school started. :(

Still, I understand the age difference and I'd never ask her to alter her college life or try and get her to settle down. True I want a steady girlfriend, but I'm not looking for marriage yet either.

it does when they are that age, 8 years isnt alot if the guy is 38 and the girl is 30, but when its 28 and 20 its huge, by the time a woman is 30 they know what they want a 20 yr old doesnt
