PR's were set today and we had a good time training to say the least.

Spent most of Saturday going from bathroom to bathroom though...lol...and a lot of the morning doing the same. Thought that I was gonna take the Conan's Wheel for a bathroom run as well. Legs still felt a little weak and like jello...but we all did well and PR's were set.

Cheese had a good day as usual. He tried to make too big of a jump on the GM's and missed 455 only to come back and nail 438 and then 449.

INTENSE 449 Set...22 pound PR I think!!!!

I also have an interesting video of him missing a front squat...but promised him that I wouldn't post the vid:)

I believe that he also set a PR on the Conan's Wheel, just by picking up the weight and taking 680 for 1/2 turn I think...and I know that he went like 75' with the 285 farmers!!!!

ALSO...he loaded the 285 stone to the 61" platform...PR!!!!

brian747478' had a GREAT day as well.

GM's
EASY 387 GM with a mid stance

Front squat 258

680 Conan's Wheel...BIG PR!!!!

He also took the 267 farmers for more than 50' and also had some good runs with the 235's. He also worked a lot on shouldering the stones to help with putting them onto a taller platform...LOOKING SOLID!!!!

On a side note I do want to add that an old friend came out today. He claimed to be 170 pounds, at 6'2"+ but I'd be REALLY suprised if he was a pound over 155. He did the 160, 185 and the 230 atlas stones with no tacky and while wearing a sweat shirt...onto a barrel with a tire on top. He REALLY impressed us A LOT and I'll never let another person put him down over anything for the rest of my life. Showed true grit today...

Also, not sure what I did to my shoulder but something went out of whack while doing the stones. Can't raise my shoulder above about 70 degrees at the moment, time for e-stim, ice, heat, aleve, and a Greek Massage:)

Enjoy!!!!

awesome job, congrats on the pr's.

I feel you on the whole "runs" issue, had that happen to me last week and did sprints while fighting the urge to mess my pants.

Awesome job Clint!! Incredible farmer's walks! How many times did you vomit? Thats hardcore! I usually end my workout after puking! Awesome

man...all you guys had some great pr's . congrats on the farmers to all of you. those gm's were insanely heavy also. wish i couldve been there. will be there next week tho. traded my gas hog in on a rice burner baby;)

Cuthbert,
Thanks for the comment. I've been going through some stuff (breaking up with girlfriend and school) and I guess that is how I deal with the stress. I hope everyone is doing well.

Oh my God! Is it just me or are your arms/shoulders looking really cut?! Nice B...real nice!

I was walking with 750 pounds in my hands...I guess it happens.

Seriously...I haven't been able to eat fattening foods so the ONLY thing that I've been able to put in my body has been good, clean, foods for the past 2 months.

When I train...I have veins that come out all over my body. I have about 10 or more in my shins and calves a lone and probably 15-20 in each quad.

I really do hope to be able to eat more fattening food between now and February...I'll just do the best that I can.

My arms did measure at 19" cold the other night.

B True- I have one word for you "DIESLE" Lookout boston.
Also looks like your crew is getting damn strong as well.

Cheers,

Thanks Scotsman and Nonerz...but there are 40 other Strongmen in the US who are just as good as I am. I'm at the bottom of the list, being realistical here, and just hope to not finish last in Boston. I am going to have to get A LOT better between now and February just to not finish last.

Sorry B, but the weakest man in the strongman competition is still something to be very proud of!

You're only going to get better!

thats all under circumstances....u havent competed with any of them yet since bein a pro to find out. i realize they are really strong guys but i doubt very seriously your the weakest and i dont think for one second you will finish last.....just not feasable

Just be more dedicated than they are. As long as you don't think they are better than you they won't be.
