Another bad refeed day

I must be missing something with these carb-up refeeds, what am I doing wrong? This is the second week in a row that I've done what I thought was a proper refeed and I end up with gas and gastrointestinal discomfort like you wouldn't believe. I take aminogen and ginger root on my 1 1/2 days of refeeding but still no matter what, I get HORRIBLE stomach cramps and it makes me think twice about even doing a refeed at all.

Here are my refeed foods
skittles, smarties, pancakes w/ syrup, pasta, a protein bar or two ( i might eat one with 2, 3 carbs and then 2 with 20 carbs in them ) It's truly rough. I think next week I will completely cut candy out of it and just eat 'normal' food with carbs, like cereal with no fat milk, pancakes, pasta, cereal bars, yum.

My results from last week were very nice, although I didn't lose any weight ( number wise ) from the week before, I'm pretty sure I lost some body fat and gained lean muscle mass which is probably what evened things out number wise.
 
i'd ditch the candy and possibley shorten the refeed. Just because your getting gas, doesnt mean somethings wrong. The gas is most likely due to all the new foods your introducing at once.

I mainly stick w/ cereal and pasta w/ shakes and dextrose added in between and the occasional fat free cake or muffin. Keeping the variety limited helped me keep uneeded stomach discomfort at bay

You have the right idea: cut the candy out.

Add digestive enzymes with a little more ginger. I would also add a liquid like pepsid (the stomach aid). Add a little fiber in the end of the day, which might help.
