Or is it about ways to power fuel cells with water? I was reading in scientific american that it should be about 2014 when fuel cell tech becomes cost competitive with internal combustion.

There was a story on Dateline about ethanol making headway towards replacing gasoline. By the sounds of it at the very least it could cause oil companys to drastically cut gas prices, but it wouldn't be for at least another couple years or so. Ethanol is cheap as hell too, well under a buck a gallon. They had footage of pres. Bush saying it was the future (kinda reluctantly it sounded) or something like that. Even so they'd probably eventually increase the price for that just like gas because they can.

Some type of technology that splits H20 into H-H-O. Pretty cool example with a blow torch and same tech went into running a hybrid car.
