Another 30 something heart failure

But your point about studies is interesting. So you've looked at the clinical data on normal calorie diets w/elevated fat content and still believe saturated fats are bad??? Based on what I've read obesity is mainly based on calories. But if you have some data that suggests a 2000 calorie diet with elevated saturated fats causes obesity , I'd like to read it. I don't believe any real evidence to that effect exists.

Anyway Pharma companies pay for studies to get results favorable to their drugs. This means there is a bais for sales. The health of the individual is not the issue in those cases.

Where in my post did I say that a 2,000 calorie diet with elevated saturated fats causes obesity?

Pharmaceutical companies don't pay for studies to get results favorable to their drugs; instead they suppress studies that don't favor their drugs.

Someone might argue that your assertion is also myth. Not arguing, just saying.

Yes I guess In this case you never clearly stated any point probably because there wasn't one. If you have a point concerning saturated fats , then post it up.

It matters not. The point is that just because a drug is studied does not mean that all information about the harm that drug can cause is out. So saying that one should use drugs instead of supplements because the drugs are "studied" is misleading and deceptive at best.

A FDA approved drug has a lot more study and research behind it than an over the counter supplement. You also cannot overlook the quality control issue either. FDA regulated drugs have much more stringent guidelines they are controlled by. I think the only issue really is the fact that prescription meds have in general a much more powerful effect on the human body and thats why they are by prescription only. If something goes wrong with them the consequences are much higher. There is also the integrity question which has already been brought up about companies suppressing things.
Overall though, I trust script drugs a lot more than over the counter, especially for quality.

Was just scanning another board and found a post that mentions another pro that just recently had serious health problems. Kris Dim had an aortic dissection, which is a hole in his aorta. He had to have heart surgery and just about died.

this post also mentions the pro Desmond Miller possibly having a stroke. Later his wife came out with a statement that he had pneumonia and no stroke. Has anyone heard what really happened?
