Androgens cause to age faster?

boy generic, what a depressing post, and what a tactless remark by that secretary. (if she was such a genius she wouldn't be a secretary anyways).

unfortunately we do age as we hit 40. but aging does not automatically equate looking bad, especially for a man. so what if you have gray hair, or some wrinkles. if you keep yourself in shape and are successful and happy, that should not bother you.

are you sure it was caused by your AS use? i am not sure i buy this if you were not going overboard with the drugs. what exactly were you using? are you sleeping well? have you been stressed? do you smoke and/or drink?

i have read that the magazines often airbrush pics of the pros due to accelerated aging from heavy roid use. most of us will never do those outrageous stacks though.

i agree , i think that maybe your stress level ,sleep ...and the fact that manny people start to get grey at 40

BUT!.....

i have met manny pros in person and no one comes to mind looking old.... ive heard the same about air brushing pictures ...

i think its genetic... some people are more seceptable to this side effect

I completely agree with the Sun, Smoking, ETOH, causing the vast majority of damage. But its also true that people seem to age at an accelerated rate later in life, look at oriental woman, they look like they are 15 years old for most of their lifes and then BAM one day they wake up hit the age ugly wall and they look like they are 130 years old.

Fine wrinkles can be taken care of with topical retin A, you should use it for at least 6 months to see any results, but you MUST stay out of the sun/use sunscreen while you use it because it makes you photosensitive

generic, get yourself a prescription to ambien. it is a terrific sleeping aid. it is part of a new class of drugs that is way less addictive than barbituates (which are rarely prescribed these days) and benziodiapams (restoril, xanax, valium and others.)

i am 41 and know i don't look 25 anymore. but i do not mind it. my hair has thinned some but not one gray hair and my face has some lines. my body is in top shape and now, with my first cycle of papervar, it is gonna get better. if this is what it looks like to be 41 then i like looking 41.

someone mentioned retin-A in a post. i started using it about six months ago and it has shown results. you can buy it cheap online. anyone interested in the website PM me.

it is a man's world and a man can age very gracefully but it takes some effort. you gotta live clean and exercise. i kind of like looking more like a man than a boy.

If anyone here is worried about facial wrinkles - check out Dr. Perricones topical alpha lipoic acid and ester c products out. Put simply, they fight inflammation and free radicals that occur on the skin (remember, free radicals cause aging.) and heal existing wrinkles and scars. This combined with an oil free sunscreen everyday will do wonders...

I had doubts before using his products, but lemme tell you they work.

Many people have tried to make his skin products at home - after all the vitamins in the lotions are very basic. however they always complain of it not mixing well and there is one simple reason why - the type of vitamin C they use. Most vitamin C's do not mix well in an oil base as they are water soluble. But if you use ascorbyl palmitate, a fat soluble C, it can be mixed up easily at home.

If you stay in shape and take care of yourself, then age does not work as much against men as it does women. I recently turned 40 and just got back from Cabo, Mexico. Met and spent time with two girls I met. One was 27 and the other 20. Feel a little weird about the 20 year old now, but not at the time.

I think men are starting to use some of the products that only women would use a few years back. I have also used retin-a on/off and like the light glow and even color it gives me.

i used retin A mirco for acne a while back and it did wonders for a few minor wrinkles as well...

i am starting to think stress and gentics are the main things

speaking of aging UNgracefully, i was listening to howard stern today and they were talking about plastic surgery. a caller mentioned a website called awfulplasticsurgery.com. pull it up, it's meanspirited but a riot.
