i love cornell/audioslave...have lots of their stuff on my gymp3-player...but, he didn't replace zack...totally different sound...smoother...a little deeper...less political...less angry...i love both renditions.

Yeah, Cornell has a great voice, he is a throwback from the 70s vocalists. I really liked him with SG. Yeah, I can do without the angry-political sound, Cornell made a nice transition when he took the lead for Rage. Brought that philosophical sound... more like from the the Romantic Era.

Cornell is a monster singer/lyricist. Just bought 'songbook' where its just him and an acoustic guitar. Was fucking awesome. The man is an amazing talent.

he may have the best voice in rock music...i have quite a few acoustic tracks on the gymp3player...just cornell and his guitar...most of them are bootleggers and some of the sound quality is less than perfect...almost all of them give me chills.
