Anavar Only Cycle - my experience so far

First - thanks to everyone on the board who have taken the time to contribute their knowledge to this discussion forum. Hopefully my results can be of value to others.

My Stats:
A: 32
H: 5' 7"
W: 155 (very stable)
BF % (very low: guess 5 - 7%)
Lifting history: on/off for about 20 years now, Natural
Solid physique, defined
Competitive in almost all sports

Goal:
1. looking to pack on about 10 pounds of solid muscle and maintain a hard, defined "athletic" look.
2. Avoid any serious side effects.

Cycle:
Weeks 1 - 9: 30 mg /day Anavar (papervar) - split 3 times daily
Weeks 8 - 11: (25 - 50 mg /day Proviron)
Weeks 1 - 16: 10 - 20 mg/ day (Creatine)
Increased protein intake to ~250 g /day, moderate carbs

Week 1 results:
* Noticed the anavar effects on day 2
* Muscles felt "fuller + harder"
* Very good pumps during workout, slight increase in vascularity
* Strength + endurance increase in all lifts
(Unusual for me since I have a very long lifting history)
* Appetite increased - surprising since most posts indicate an appetite suppression effect from anavar
* Libido has also increased? - not complaining
* General Mood - normal, no changes

* weight: up to 159.4, still very defined and solid

I have to say I am amazed at the results after only 1 week - I have gained more this week than I have in years of training hard naturally. I can't wait to see the final results in 10 more weeks.

I will update this post weekly with more results.

This looks a lot like what I'm considering but why the split 3 times daily? What made you decide on proviron?

* I have not started the proviron yet - scheduled to begin in week 8, I'm only starting week 2 of my cycle.

* Proviron is being used as part of my PCT and should compliment the hardening effects of the anavar at the end of the cycle as well as fill the gap for libido until my system returns to normal. I'm not sure if Trib or Avena will be required as well - I will wait and see.

* The 30 mg is split 3/daily just to maintain a steadier level in the bloodstream. The half-life is somewhere around 8 hours.

* Yes, this is my first cycle ever.

BTW did you mean 10-20 GRAMS of creatine. you put MG and I was sure if that was what you meant.
 
your gains could be from the creatine at this point, and not the var. creatine makes you hold water, hence the increase in weight. have you used creatine before? if so, how did it affect you?
 
nice, i'm thinking of busting my natural cherry with an anavar only cycle as well so i can't wait to see your results.... maybe take a before and after pic so we can see results
 
Correction: 10 - 20 grams of Creatine (post workout)

I look forward to making steady progress over the next 8 weeks and holding onto most if not all the gains.

I can definitely "feel" the changes happening. It's like the pump you get from a tough workout - except the feeling does not seem to fade away.

Week 2 should confirm the progress - I'll update next Monday.
 
proviron?

i did a papervar cycle myself roughly 2 months ago, and while the effects were really nice @ 8 weeks of 40mg/ED, i noticed some acne around my shoulders towards the end of the cycle and well after...anyways my question is: i was told that PCT really isn't needed nor suggested while on a var-only cycle.....am i wrong because i was strongly considering doing another one in a couple of months....any suggestions?

You need some clomid after every cycle....... Or at least some nolvadex,( I think nolva is inferior to clomid for recovery but its better then nothing)

really nice.....i gained 10 lbs lean muscle and my body was much leaner...it was a nice chg seeing my face in the mirror and noticing it much leaner....people @ work were complementing me all the time, but it was gradual enough so it didn't look suspicious.....as far as recovery...i didnt do anything.....that may have been a mistake, but i was told PCT post anavar only is pointless...
