"better" is very subjective. anadrol comes 50mg standard. dbol is supplied in as little as 5mg tabs. if you did 50mg of dbol it would have just as many if not more sides as drol. 25-30mg of dbol works for most sane folks. i have ran dbol twice at these levels and got serious results. i ran anadrol once and didnt like it........got BIG and STRONG as fuck but i felt like shit the whole time and there was more hair in my comb than on my head. just my personal xperience.
i would go for anadrol if you are going to take 50mg a day anyway. a lot of people say anadrol wil hold a lot of water and make you bloated.... i always use antiestrogens with almost every cycle because i am very prone to gyno and i dont know if it is because of this but anadrol makes me look real hard! for me personally especially taken at 100mg a day it is the best roid for me: makes me grow like wheet, apetite up, gives me a real hard dry look. i think some people respond very different on the same kind of steroids, but definitely if you are going to take 50mg a day anyway go for drol if you have some antiestrogen lying around.
btw; dbol without anitestrogen make you look very very bloated like a pig also!

for me it works very very well 
you know to be honest... the bloat for me on dbol is mg for mg worse then from anadrol! i know i am very prone to gyno and to water retention (luckly it is almost the only side i have from steroids) but if i dont take antiE 25mg of dbol en about 8 hours later BOAM my nipples start getting swollen and i get after a few days on dbol 50mg a day my lower back start getting pumped whole day.. can not even go shopping without sitting down every 15 min... sometimes, and ir eally mean sometimes like 1 times in 2-3 weeks, i take 25mg dbol about 4 hours before training if i feel i am in need for a hard work out to get me a little extra boast. besides that i dont use dbol... i understand for most people it is durt cheap and easy to get but i would go for something else...
that is something i like about steroids.. after years of using you feel your body responds well to some and to others it dont.. and this is different for everyone.. thats makes it so interesting!
