Like it or not, that's the future. All the auto makers are looking at China for production. Of the big 3 in America, Chrysler will probably be first to offer a Chinese-made car. GM already makes Buicks there, but only for the Chinese market, but once their local demand is met it would be trivial for them to start making them for export too. VW has a presence in China too, and will have a Passat-sized Chinese car on sale in America by 2009-2010.
