I've seen threads on different techniques for opening amps. I recently got my hands on some jelfa omnadren amps. They have a white spot on them and when you look closely there is a tiny groove in the glass underneath the spot. I just grabbed some tissue and popped it off at the groove. Seemed to break fairly cleanly but at a slight angle. Are these omnas prescored or is it just there as a starting point?

Yep - prescored for a clean break. Unlike Karachi Sustanon, which without scoring the entire amp is liable to break in your fist leaking your four ester blend through your fingers and onto the floor...

I have yet to have an amp break off cleanly. i used to try to score my amps with a file, but that didn't work. Now i just get some tissue paper hold the large end with one hand and squeeze the shit out of the small end til it pops, since I squeeze it in tissue paper, it catches the glass. Seems to work fine for me. But for once I would sure enjoy a clean break.

Some people use the amp openers that you can buy, a pen cap works just as well.
