Amp 02 and Raw MCC Log

skullcrushin22

New member
Hey bros some of you know before I did a Amp 02 log awhile back. Well I am starting another one using the new Amp 02 and Raw MCC. I just finished deloading last week after nine weeks on the 5*5. I will be running a similar program but not the exact same thing. My main compound lifts will be 5 reps and under with a few specific muscle lifts. I will be training three days a week on monday, wednesday, and friday. Here is what those days will consist of:

Monday
Squat
3*5
2*3
1*8

Flat Bench
3*5
2*3
1*8

Pendlay Row
4*5
1*3

DB Incline Bench 3*6
Heavy DB Rows 3*6

Wednesday

Front Squat
3*5
2*3
1*8

BTN Push Press
3*5
2-3*3

Deadlift
3*5
2-3*3

Decline DB Skullcrushers 3*8
Wide Grip Upright Row 3*6

Friday

Squat
3*5
2*3
1*8

Flat Bench
3*5
2*3
1*8

Pendlay Row
4*5
1*3

Hammer Curls 3*8
Jump Shrugs 5*5

Any suggestions or comments are welcome I feel that this should give me some pretty good strenghts gains. Please bare with my squatting it is very weak and I do bust my ass to try and get it up I just dont know why its so difficult for me.

Some stats:
6'2''
217 lbs.
9-12% BF

End of my 5*5 Results:

Squat 5RM-255lbs
Flat Bench5RM-280lbs
Deadlift 5RM-380lbs
BTN Push Press 5RM-190lbs
Pendlay Row 5RM-185lbs

As you can see I can bench more than I can squat which is very dissapointing and trust me I do bust my ass its just been very difficult to get that up.

As far as the Amp02 and MCC go I use MCC in the morning on non training days and on training days I use it 3-4 hours preworkout. I take 8-10 Amp 02 capsules 45 minutes before my workout. I am a college student so I try to eat the best I can. I usually get 3-4 meals in a day with 3 protein shakes also. I try to drink at least a gallon of water day usually more.

I will be lifting in a little awhile and will post up after.

Thanks bro!

I'm a little confused why the focus of the log isn't your training, but a pre-workout supp and creatine youre taking.

The focus is my training I never said it wasnt, but I want to show the strenght gains that can be gained with the use of the strength stack. I am extremely focused on my training. I would make gains regardless of if I was using this stack or not. I want to show how fast the gains come with the use of the stack too.

Day 1-Monday

Squats
warmup
155*5
175*5
200*5
225*3
235*3
185*8

Bench
warmup
155*5
205*5
235*5
255*3
275*3-->I can tell the amp is working because this was easy.
225*8

Pendlay Row
135*5
145*5
155*5
185*3-->not bad at all I am ready to move up to 195-200

DB Incline Bench
85's*6
90's*6
95's*6

DB Row
100's*6 for 3 sets

Had a great workout today I was feeling the amp big time. I was surprised with my bench because of the deload last week, but this is great Im looking forward to reping over 300. The thing I felt most today from the amp was the endurance its pretty insane and I love it. The pumps are solid as always from the Amplify 02 along with the focus. The MCC should start kicking in by the end of this week.

Well, it is the title of your log, and your first day's post talks about nothing except amp/mcc.

Perhaps this would be better suited for the supplement board? Nice workout, but really you can't attribute it to a supp unless you have a control to compare against.

I understand that. I am not really comparing Amplify to anything. This is my training log if I have to change the name I will. What my log will show also how easily strenght gains will come from the supplement.

Nice progress, butt his thread would be better placed in the AAS board. BTW - strength does not come easy, and those supplemets may help a smidge, but they aren't doing anything you can't get from Milk, Eggs, and Red Meat.

Also - I think these 'preworkout pump drugs' are better served w/ the BB comunity, not for someone training for strength.

BTW - I think Omega is a great guy, and I have used a bottle on Amp02. I have taken TONS of stuff, and while it is a good supplement my strength gains come from my training and moreso my diet, not from an OTC supp. IMO of course.

Point Taken. I am not sure what this would do in the steroid forum. I def. understand strenght does not come easy it has taken me awhile to just get to this point and I am nowhere near where I want to be.

I use amplify more for the endurance and focus rather than the pump, I am not the biggest fan of a huge pump because sometimes I have to stop because its so bad. Strenght gains can be made without any supps at all and I have been down that road also. I want to show how I train and my gains that I making that is why I put it in this board. I also wanted to show that gains can come quicker with the use of amp and mcc. If you look at my BTN Push Press two weeks ago I struggled with 190 for 3 then I took a week off and come back and bang out 195 for 3 without a problem. Thats what I want to show how the amplify helps.

Why are you so intenet on attributing your progress to the amp? Youre obviously a smart/strong bro, so I'd much more attribute it your knowledge on diet and progressive training. I would just like to see more credit due to you, and less given to the amp.

Tell me about the lazerlike focus, I want to know about that.

And the cyborg like strength, ripping shirts with huge pumped vasular traps and sick pumps combined with a zen like focus.

seriously man, if you want to have people pay attention to the progression and journal you should have chosen another title. Way too many laughable infomercial like threads on elite as it is

Firt off congrats on that BTN PP. I can barely do 195 (but I can squat 405 so ha!)

I agree w/ Zgzaz - unless your kinda marketing the supp I would take all the credit. I also agree w/ the pumps being a negative. While I like looking as swole as the next guy I can't have a pump in say my lower back that prevents me from completing a workout.

On the MCC - again, if you are eating red meat, eggs, and drinking milk (enought daily of course) then your getting all the creatine you need, IMO. I would like to hear Omegas take on this as he is always upfront.

All that shows is how fatigue management (in this case, deloading), not Amp02, helps. I (and I assume most of the other guys who have posted here) am not trying to hijack your log, but if you and perhaps others who happen to read this are trying to identify the reasons for your progress, it's important that you realize that it's not necessarily due in any large part to the supplements.

I appreciate that. I honestly didnt think I was giving amp an insane amount of credit, but I will give credit where its due. Ive done a similar program to this using no other supps other than ON whey. So I compare that to now and my strenghts gains seem to come quicker while using the MCC.

No need to be a dickhead I did not say once any of that shit your talking about. Just because you dont like a product that you never have tried doesnt mean you need to bash it. I have read several of your posts and I take in a lot of what you say. You def. know what your doing and how to train. If you guys think more people will take this serious by changing the title then I will.

Whoa there... Tweakle is someone you don't wanna fuck with. I agree with you that Amp gets you in the zone and works very well. But I agree with everyone else on the fact that you should retitle this or move it to the Steroids forum. I'm not saying don't push the product because I've been a user myself for awhile and I advocate it's benefits to anyone who asks. But you know that gains in strength are attributed more to proper diet/nutrition as Al420 pointed out.

Leave the dood alone its too late FOCK!

maybe. MAYBE in the future it may be noted and may be considered mkay?
so as to make you all happy

Best legal muscle building supps money can buy. Besides whey and vitamins, Omega's products are all I really use legal wise. Great pumps, energy, focus, strength, endurance, the works. Omega delivers what he promises. I remember when I got my first tub of Gplenish (what Gcovery was back in the day), it really worked and I didn't feel cheated.

I don't think this guy is saying he owes all his progress to Amp but rather that it's a great strength and focus aid. Shift work really fcked me up and even when I was done with it, I still couldn't pull it back together. Amp helped that.

I can't vouch for the specified supps, but I have experienced results from things like Ripped Fuel and the like. Caffeine and ephedra is no joke pre-workout. Rarely will I go to the gym without slamming some coffee or Monster beforehand.

LoL, man.... this thread is just turning into an amp/mcc advertisement...

Btw, I'll be starting my Rock Star Energy Drink, Fish Oils, and Multivitamin log next week if anyone wants to follow... lol...

exactly, there are distinct ERGOGENIC effects not only with Stims but with exogenous creatine supplementation ect

so the two together WILL make marked measurable impact

I realized you were just joking, I saw you on the anabolic thread, lol. I was gonna say, why would someone think I'm pushing a product?! LOL

skullcrushin, since this log has gone off on so many tangents and you were considering changing the title anyway, you might want to start a new log and copy and paste the workout entries into it.

Regarding the 10-pound jump you tried to make on bench, it looks like you've trained bench pretty hard in the past, so you probably can't expect such rapid progress on it. You might consider being a bit more conservative with the increases (say, 5 pounds per week), which should allow you to make steady progress and put you at less risk of stalling quickly.

I agree with you about the ten pound jump I rarely every try to add ten pounds on my bench but I though I could get it but I didnt. So five pounds a week it is. Now as for deadlift I am going to try ten for now.

If I get around to it I might start another log and copy and paste like you said since it will prob get more hits.

Fair enough, although I like reading peoples logs, and respect your strength and progress, I just don't like reading an advertisement every 2 lines.

I think I am going to switch my workout up a bit. Squatting three times a week for the past 11+ weeks is taking a toll on me. I think I am going to squat ramping up on mondays and do straight sets on fridays and thats it. Today 225 felt like the world on my shoulders and I think I need to switch up.

Also with bench I think I may bench on mondays ramping up the weight and either due incline bench on fridays or flat DB bench to switch that up too. Everything else will stay the same. Any suggestions??

Other than that I felt like shit today. My allergies have been killing me. Thank goodness for the Amp or todays workout would of been really rough.

I'm not surprised at all that you are hitting PR's on some less-than-familiar lifts. One of the marks of true strength gain is carryover to other lifts. In other words, if you get stronger on your big lifts, it's 'true' strength that affects everything you do. Many people swap assistance exercises around, get stronger on them, and find little/no improvement.

For example, had swapped out squats for leg presses, then returned to squats, you would be unlikely to see improvement. Swapping coplementary movements can lead to improvement in both lifts.

Hey bros its been a few days since my last post cause of easter. Due to me going home thursday afternoon I couldnt work out on friday. So I did fridays workout on thur. which I obv. wasnt able to use the normal weight I should I just wanted to get some work in. I did the same exercises I usually do on friday but with ligther weight.

So heres today workout which was pretty good except for my squat which is really starting to frustrate me. I slammed into a brick wall today and went backwards big time. Last week I did 260*3 on my last set today I didnt even get to my set of 3's. I have been busting my ass squatting three times a week for 12 weeks and then twice a week for these past few weeks. There was a deload week in there also. I dont know why progessing on squats are so hard for me. I need to figure out something to do. Any suggestions? On the brighter side though I was happy with my bench today.

Bench Press
200*5

Hey guys its been awhile since I last posted. I have been pretty busy these past few days. Anyways my lifts are starting to stall and that is expected for how long I have been lifting like this. My body is pretty drained from lifting this heavy for so long so Im gonna start a new split next week. I want to see what you guys think of it.
