What is a good amino acid or acids to take? brands etc

i know there is an American brand called GNC i had a look at today, but held off buying any before i get some advice on what the best brands and formulas are from the very knowledgable bunch of people who get on this site

what aminos are you looking for? essential aminos/bcaa's?

get some Xtend..

if you need some for energy, fat loss, mental accutiy get some ALCAR and ALTYR from the AF Store

basically an everyday formula i can take. Have never really tried aminos but have been told that they can be quite good for muscle growth and aiding recovery.

i would prefer a once a day formula, not to keen on having to take them throughout the day as you sometimes tend to forget and so on.


while im at it recommend and good creatine labels? prefer the ones you have to load up for first week

Xtend is excellent...if a bit $$. I make a copy with bulk BCAA's and Citruilline (sp?) Malate for 1/3 the price.

get L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine in a 2:1:1 ratio and make your own BCAA formula..

Growth Flex V... its like a growth hormone in a capsule. it has alot of amino acids.

GNC is a rip off...Prices are at least double what they should be.
