Let's say there would of been a war between u.s and ussr in a non nuke fight who would of won in the 60's, 70's or 80's

It all depends on when and who was president. We would have lost instantly under Johnson and Carter. We would have won under Kennedy, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Bush. The soviets were only a threat because of their nukes and migs. After the mid 70's our aircraft were superior.

I think if war had errupted during the 'cold war' we would still be fighting it today. I can't imagine the devistation and loss suffered on both sides - catastrophic! The bear ain't dead though, and nothing unites a people like WAR.

I dont want to turn this into a political thing, but.... These are the reasons i hate liberals. Their policies make everyone think they are entitled to something, and that work is for fools. That and there "just hug and get in touch with your feelings" attitude makes me sick. I dont think 1 species in all of history has survuved with this attitude.

Thats not a fair comparison, the USSR was a coalition of 15 countries, the US is just one. A war between NATO & the USSR would be a better comparison. I say NATO.
