Am I too old to start?

OK - I'm 30. I started lifting 1 year ago and I've had FANTASTIC natural gains. I think its time to start a cycle - but am I too old to get real gains? I hope not!
 
Damn bro, you are making me feel old!! I got ya beat by a few years and ALWAYS make great gains every cycle!!! Nothing to worry about!!!
 
no you're not too old. by no means at all. juice up. however, alot of people will say, "if you've getting great gains naturally why juice?" so it's up to your discretion...
 
At your age you will benefit more from AAS then younger people. This is a great age to start and will make you feel like you are 18 again. Do your research and feel free to post any questions.
 
Thanks guys :)! Glad to see I'm not alone here - it was intimidating ENOUGH to get into the gym for the first time in my life a few months before my 30th birthday! DOH! I just put up 230 on the flat bench - started with a 25 lb plate on each side 1 year ago - so I've got good gains, and DEFINATE body change - but I think I want to step up to the next level. I'd really like to cut some body fat (stomach only) and get some hard muscle on the rest of my frame. At 6'2" 200 lbs I'd like to see 230 or so, so a 30 lb muscle gain at least (and some fat cutting).
 
i'll be 32 this month

i just did my first cycle....and have some seen some great results...
 
With only 1 year under your belt... and your getting great gains... try to keep up the good work naturally...

But hell no... you not too old... there is someone that visits here that is well into his 50's...

not too old

I started to hit it up when I was like 32 or something like that. I was a big fat pot head hippy guy, and I wanted so much to get into shape, i would have done anything. I lifted hard for about a year, and then got some test but blew the cycle. I am a hard gainer and my metabolism is naturally slow, and so the juice is like some wonder drug to me. I really love it, and I am 36 now. Acutally, in my opinion, 30 is about the right age.
 
Hell man i made good gains naturally until i reached 41 now i realize i need a little help cuz supplements just don't cut it. If you need proof see Ironmaster he's about 4 yrs older than me and ripped!!! RADAR
 
I'm 39 and feeling 21... youll get good results..just be smart
oh..and dont go lsitening to thes e people that tell ya to front load test @2,000 first week, 750 per week and add fina, winny, t3, clen, d-bol, joe weider products, etc. do a nice mellow cycle...research and learn!!

above all training & diet consistency are KING!!!
 
just the right age bro. keep your dosages low for awhile. as a general rule, the more you do, the more you have to do to see gains. be smart about it. i am 30 and have never been as massive and lean as i am right now. peace

to. If so don't. I'll never let my age limit me from doing
anything. If you do you lost.
 
I am 45 and I started to train pretty heavily two years ago, I went to my 25 year class reunion and I was told by both the guys and the gals that I was the least changed in the entire class. I have even been carded in a bar on my birthday, so it's never too late, keep lifting, eat clean, and if your into the juice just be moderate in your use. It's all good. I have two women I'm hooked up with right now, and I must say they do appreciate a clean cut man, no belly, solid muscle, well defined for my age. I feel better now then I did when I was 20. Test is best but as you get older don't go to heavy with it. 1 amp at 250 mg a week along with 450 mg of deca a week works just fine. Test can be a trouble with the prostate as you get older. AS can be the key to growing older gracefully, Andropause is for real. My sex drive is better now then at any point in my life. I may yet try a run of GH someday. It's all good....
